• 30 minutes where each student shares struggles and wins from the week. Peers and mentor provide support.

• 1 hour where mentor reviews weekly material and answers questions, and peers work on practice problems together.

Meet with your mentor one-on-one once a month for 30 minutes each. Discuss future goals, concerns about coursework, fears about meeting goals, selecting a major and/or career, wins so far in the semester… the floor is yours!

Post up to two technical course questions per week. Mentor will answer within 24-48 hours with a typed, handwritten (work with steps broken down), and/or (short) video explanation.

Note: Mentor may opt to answer more than two posts per student in a week, but only the first two are guaranteed to ensure everyone gets the chance to have detailed answers to their questions.

In addition to the weekly group, there will be an extra session for final exam review. This will have all groups for each course combined (ex. if there are 2 introductory chemistry courses running by Covalent Chemistry, both will meet for the exam review at the same time).

Access to your mentor’s weekly blog. Topics will change each week and may cover testing anxiety and testing strategies, preparing to transfer schools, being disabled in college, ect.

Access to all course notes created by mentor, plus extra problem sets with worked out solutions.
